Before he arrived at Highbury, Lee laid the foundation to his career with Burnley, Chester City, Lee had the distinction of playing at 91 of the 92 Football League grounds, missing out only at Craven Cottage.
Lee Dixon was the cultured yet competitive right back in George Graham's hugely success Arsenal team.
He was capped 22 times by England and played a total of 635 League games. With Arsenal, he won four League championships, three FA Cups, the League Cup once and the Uefa Cup Winners' Cup. After retiring he opened a restaurant with his friend Heston Blumenthal, and started a successful broadcasting career that has earned him a regular place in the BBC Match of the Day team.
He is well armed with intriguing stories about the George Graham era at Arsenal and he also gives an insight into how Arsene Wenger works.
